How is Julian Jabarkus even real?? This tiny little golden-haired cutie looks like somebody shrunk down a fancy celebrity dog and gave him the fluffiest goldilocks fur imaginable. He’s petite, ridiculously adorable, and fully aware that he’s cute too LOL. Julian Jabarkus has this funny little diva streak about him in the most harmless, entertaining way, like he expects admiration everywhere he goes and honestly… he gets it. One minute he’s melting into you for belly rubs, the next he’s proudly prancing around with a toy like he just won Best in Show. He’s sweet, affectionate, spunky, and has one of those personalities that makes people instantly smile.

Julian Jabarkus is approximately 4 years old, weighs around 15 lbs, and is believed to be a Dachshund mix. With rescue dogs it’s always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age, but whatever mix created this tiny guy absolutely nailed it.
When it comes to people, Julian has been incredibly sweet with everyone he has met so far. He loves affection, enjoys belly rubs, and is very tolerant of physical handling. You can fuss over him, dress him up, carry him around, and he mostly just goes along with it like the tiny little prince he is. He already knows basic commands like sit, enjoys treats, and seems to catch onto things quickly. He also walks nicely on a leash and could potentially do well in an apartment setting with the right adopter.
Now… when it comes to other dogs, Julian is more of a “respect my personal space please” kind of guy LOL. He’s not looking for wrestling matches, dog park friendships, or a super playful canine sibling. He much prefers calm dogs that are happy to peacefully coexist and let him do his own thing. If he were to live with another dog, it would need to be a calm, easygoing female dog that doesn’t get worked up easily and isn’t looking to constantly interact with him. Think peaceful roommates, not inseparable besties.
Julian also takes his food and toys very seriously and prefers not to share them with people or other dogs. Because of this, he would do best in a home without young children and with adopters who are happy to respect his boundaries around his prized possessions. Overall though, Julian is such a funny, lovable little dog with so much charm packed into one tiny body. He’s the type of dog that keeps you entertained just by existing and will absolutely become the main character of your household in no time.
We are willing to test Julian Jabarkus with anything you need in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know.

At our 2 acre Texas based property, we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group training and socialization play groups helping them stay confident, well rounded, and adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers are dedicated to each dog’s growth and we enjoy seeing their progress!
We go above and beyond to ensure every animal receives exceptional care. Veterinarians consistently praise our medical standards. From routine care to advanced treatments, each dog receives personalized attention. Hard costs for a healthy dog range from $804-$920; heartworm-positive dogs or those needing specialized care can exceed $2,000+. Adoption fees help cover a portion of these expenses, but without government funding, we rely on fundraising to bridge the gap—ranging from $100–$1,000+ per dog.
Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
