DESCRIPTION
Reba is an adorable five-month-old puppy whose long body and legs don’t quite seem to match. Honestly, we’re not sure how all those pieces came together! Based on her looks and those of her siblings, our best breed guess is Corgi/Australian Shepherd.
One thing we do know for sure is that Reba is the cutest, sweetest little girl. When she first arrived in her foster home, she was very timid and unsure of everything. But with a little time and patience, her personality has started to shine more and more each day.
Reba absolutely loves other dogs and having a furry friend around helps bring out her playful side. She enjoys running around, chasing toys, and getting pets. She’s still not 100% sure what to do when someone wants to give her lovings, but she’s learning that attention and affection are pretty great things! She comes up for scratches and to give kisses, but she still freezes occasionally when approached and pancakes to the ground. She has the sweetest, most gentle personality that is just going to continue to grow.
Reba is also fostered with cats and has been doing well with them. She’s been doing good in her crate and is starting to figure out that going through the door means it’s time to potty outside.
Reba is spayed, microchipped, and current on vaccines. She’s ready to find a patient family who will give her the time, encouragement, and love she needs to become the confident little girl we know she can be.
The Australian Shepherd is a highly intelligent and energetic herding dog known for its loyalty and work ethic. Originating in the United States, despite its name, this breed is prized for its agility, trainability, and versatility in various dog sports and activities. Australian Shepherds have a distinctive medium length coat that comes in different colors, often with unique merle patterns.
