Meet Burton! Burton is a 3 month old male corgi and he weighs about 10 pounds but he is still growing and will likely reach a normal corgi weight of 25-35 pounds. Burton arrived in rescue as part of an accidental litter and has been thriving in a loving foster home. Burton is a typical, high energy, working breed dog and will need a family that is willing to keep up with him. Contrary to what you may see on social media, corgis are not couch potatoes and they can also be very vocal. He is still learning about house training, leash training, what to chew and not chew and his socialization. His foster mom says: Meet Burton, a happy little Corgi boy with enough energy to power the whole house! This adorable guy is always ready for an adventure, whether that means exploring the yard, chasing toys, or finding something new to get into. Burton is a loving pup with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Like any puppy, Burton is still learning all the important things. His future family should be ready for ALL things puppy—house training, crate training, leash training, learning manners, appropriate chewing, and everything in between. He’s going to need patience, consistency, and lots of positive reinforcement. Burton is the kind of puppy who will keep you laughing, keep you moving, and probably keep your socks disappearing. If you’re looking for a sweet, energetic little adventure buddy and are ready for the fun (and work!) that comes with raising a puppy, Burton might be your guy!
Burton is neutered, up to date on vaccines, on flea and heartworm prevention and microchipped.
Burton is fostered in the Orlando area and his adoption donation is $550.
