Meet Archie! Archie is a 3 month old male corgi and he weighs about 10 pounds but he is still growing and will likely reach a normal corgi weight of 25-35 pounds. Archie arrived in rescue as part of an accidental litter and has been thriving in a loving foster home. Archie is a typical, high energy, working breed dog and will need a family that is willing to keep up with him. Contrary to what you may see on social media, corgis are not couch potatoes and they can also be very vocal. He is still learning about house training, leash training, what to chew and not chew and his socialization. His foster mom says: Archie may be small, but this Corgi boy has a BIG personality! He is a fun-loving, energetic puppy who is always ready to play, explore, investigate, and make sure he doesn’t miss out on anything. When he’s not busy being a little ball of Corgi energy, Archie is happy to soak up some love and attention. Archie is looking for a family who understands that puppies don’t come pre-programmed. His new people will need to be ready for house training, crate training, leash training, learning basic manners, socialization, appropriate chewing, and all the other lessons that come with growing up. This little guy is going to keep his family busy, but he’ll repay them with endless love, goofy puppy antics, and a lifetime of companionship. Archie is neutered, up to date on vaccines, on flea and heartworm prevention and microchipped.
