Hi there! I'm Cocoa, a 5-year-old, 42-pound, coonhound mix girl, ready for my true forever! Although my start in life wasn't the best, I've come so far since my rescue, and I can't wait for the next chapter!

I'm house trained and do great on my leash! I get along with other friendly dogs and I'm fine with dog-savvy cats. I'm still a little nervous from my past, so rambunctious children would probably be too much for me. Adults, however, I've found them to be great! It just takes a minute to get past my scared.

My ideal forever home would include a fenced backyard, a friendly canine playmate, and people who are patient, loving and consistent. I've learned so much in the last few months. I can't imagine what potential is still inside.

My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!
