My name is Arwen and I am a 1-2 year old Hound mix who weighs about 50 lbs.

Let's get the most important thing out of the way first: have you seen my ears?! They are absolutely magnificent. Pair them with my squishy hound face, and I'm pretty hard to resist.

I came up from Texas to find my forever family and have been winning hearts ever since. Like many hounds, I experience the world nose-first. If there's an interesting scent nearby, you can bet I want to investigate it. Walks with me are less about getting from Point A to Point B and more about reading all the neighborhood news left behind by other dogs.

While my nose is often busy, when you get my attention I absolutely love affection. I enjoy spending time with my people and am always happy to soak up pets and praise.

I've done well in the playrooms here with the other dogs and have enjoyed making canine friends. I have a friendly, social nature and am always ready to see what fun the day might bring.

Now, let's talk about one of the classic hound features: I bay. It's adorable. Hound lovers know exactly what I'm talking about and probably just smiled reading that.
