DESCRIPTION
BARC welcomes Honey to the rescue!!
Found last weekend on 82 and we thought we found her home only to find out that it was just a good Samaritan feeding her when she came over for the last few months.
Her stray hold is up and no one has claimed her. Thankfully one of our fosters found her and is fostering her until adopted because we are jam packed full!!
Honey was spayed today, is on Preventative and vaccinated. I would say she is young. Maybe a year old and a beagle/coonhound mix. She is approx 30lbs but skinny and needs to gain 5 lbs.
Full transparency, she is on the feral side but super friendly with people and other dogs. She is not used to the leash or being inside but we are working with her. She sleeps in a crate next to her foster mom and is doing great there! Leash training shouldn't be terrible since she checks the other boxes off!!
You can apply for Honey through Brantley Animal Rescue Coalition (B.A.R.C) in SE Georgia! Located 1 hour from Jacksonville.
