DESCRIPTION
BARC introduces Harper to the rescue!
Harper was found with who we can only assume was her brother on a dirt road and in terrible condition. She has spent the last two weeks in her foster home where she has been transformed into a cute little puppy!
Harper loves to snuggle with her foster mom and play with the resident dogs. She is also young enough to be completely fine with cats and there are resident cats in her foster home.
We can only assume that she is going to be a large dog. But because we do not know Mom and Dad, we can't say for sure. We are also completely guessing that she is part husky. Those eyes are a dead giveaway though!
She is vetted and rescue pays for spay when she's of age. Currently we think she is around 7 weeks old.
If you are interested in Harper, please apply through the BARC website!
The husky breed is renowned for its striking appearance, characterized by piercing eyes and a thick double coat. These medium sized, energetic dogs are known for their friendly and outgoing personalities, making them wonderful companions for active families. Originally bred for sledding and endurance in cold climates, huskies are intelligent and independent, often displaying a strong prey drive. Proper training and regular exercise are crucial to keep these playful and social animals happy and well adjusted.
