Hi, I'm Spinelli!

I'm a quiet, shy girl with the cutest fluffy ears and a gentle little soul. I can be timid when meeting new people, so I'll need a patient family who can give me time to feel safe and let my personality blossom. One of my sweetest habits is resting my head on your arm when you hold me and looking up at you. I may be a little shy, but I have a lot of love to give!

I'm a low-energy girl who prefers lounging and relaxing over playing all day. I do have occasional bursts of puppy zoomies, but most of the time, I'm happiest taking it easy. My favorite time of day is mealtime, so a tasty snack is definitely one way to make me smile!

I'm still learning all about the world and will need help with potty training, basic obedience, leash walking, and crate training. I can be nervous about new experiences, so I'll do best with someone who is willing to go at my pace and help me build confidence. Having a friendly, confident dog friend would be especially helpful as I learn that the world isn't so scary.

I haven't been around kids or cats yet, so I'm unsure how I would feel about them. I'm looking for a calm, loving home where I can feel secure, enjoy cozy moments, and learn that being loved is a pretty wonderful thing.

Spinelli is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 11/6/2026 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 8:30am and 11:00am. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame. Since they haven't arrived yet, they are available exclusively through Ruff Start's Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Visit our Foster to Adopt Program page to learn more. Once they get to Minnesota, they might require further veterinary care. Ruff Start's veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments.
