Hi, I'm Dallas!

I'm a sweet, gentle puppy with a love for playtime, mealtime, and getting all the affection I can. I have a lower-energy puppy personality, so I enjoy having fun but am also happy to take it easy. My favorite times of day are feeding time and playtime, because what could be better than good food and a little fun?

I have a silly little quirk that will steal your heart. Whenever someone picks me up, I immediately flop onto my back, ready for belly rubs! I guess I know how to make the most of being loved. I'm a pretty quiet girl, too, and while I can be a little unsure when meeting new people, give me a couple of minutes and I'll start to warm up.

I'm still just a puppy, so I have lots to learn! I'm making progress with potty training and having fewer accidents, but I'll need patience and consistency as I keep learning. I'll also need help with leash walking, basic obedience, and crate training. The good news is that I'm young and ready to grow, and I can adapt to new environments with a little love and guidance.

I get along well with dogs and kids, but I haven't met any cats yet, so we aren't sure how I'd do with them. I'm looking for a family who will help me learn, make me feel safe, and give me plenty of opportunities to play, snuggle, and show off my sweet personality.

Dallas is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 11/6/2026 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 8:30am and 11:00am. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame. Since they haven't arrived yet, they are available exclusively through Ruff Start's Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Visit our Foster to Adopt Program page to learn more. Once they get to Minnesota, they might require further veterinary care. Ruff Start's veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments.
