Meet Cocoa!

Cocoa is an absolutely ADORABLE Cocker Spaniel mix who has been through a heartbreaking change, but he is ready to find the loving family he deserves. His owners sadly lost their job and had to move, and they could no longer provide for him. As difficult as that decision was, they put Cooa's needs first and did what was best for him. Now this SWEET boy is looking for a forever home where he can feel, safe, loved and cherished forever.

Cocoa is a super SWEET CUDDLE BUG who would happily spend all day curled up in his foster's lap if he were allowed. He can be a little shy when he first meets you, but once he realizes he is safe, his LOVING PERSONALITY shines through. He absolutely loves being CLOSE TO HIS HUMAN and soaking up affection.

He is house trained and crate trained and his crate is his safe place where he feels comfortable and secure. Cocoa loves PLAYING tug and fetch, and his absolute favorite toy is his pizza stuffie! He is also great on leash and rides wonderfully in the car, so he is ready to be your little ADVENTURE BUDDY.

Cocoa is ok with other dogs, but his foster believes he would truly blossom as your one and only pup where he can have all he love and attention to himself. Because he is shy and has experienced so much change, a calm, quieter home with adults or mature older children would be the perfect fit form him.

Cocoa has lost the only family he has ever known, and we know his little heart needs time to understand that he is safe again. But underneath that shyness is an incredibly sweet, AFFECTIONATE boy who just wants someone to love and trust. His former owners made an incredibly difficult choice by putting Ccoa's needs ahead of their own and now we want to help them finish what they started: finding Cocoa a family who will love him for the rest of his life.
