Lady - A Playful, Athletic Puppy - Pit Bull Terrier and Terrier Dog for Adoption in Houston, Texas

At just 5 weeks old, Lady and her siblings were found abandoned, locked inside a crate, on a rural Texas road. A kind passerby spotted them and quickly got them out of the heat and into the county shelter. That’s when Freedom Street Rescue stepped in to give Lady a loving foster home while she searches for her forever home in the Northeast.

Lady is a happy, curious, and friendly puppy who loves the simple joys in life, like balls, squeaky toys, wrestling with her siblings, and following her foster mom everywhere! After playing hard, she loves to be petted while she falls asleep snuggled with her favorite stuffed animal.

Lady has a beautiful short blue-gray coat with tan markings. She is the largest and strongest pup in her litter and often the first to try out new things.. The shelter listed her as a pit bull mix. Her foster mom says Lady’s body style is like a pit bull, but her head is not as large, and her body is not as muscular as other pit bull puppies she has fostered. Lady’s approximate date of birth is 7/14/2026. She weighed 4.4 pounds at 6 weeks, so she will most likely grow to be a medium sized dog. Lady is vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to find her forever home. She’s too young to be spayed at this time so her adopter will be responsible for having her fixed at the appropriate age.

Her adoption fee is $275 plus a transport fee of $250. She will be old enough to travel the weekend of September 19, 2026.
