David - Chihuahua and Dachshund Dog Available for Adoption in Yakima, Washington

Meet David, an almost six-month-old Chihuahua/Doxie mix weighing 12 pounds.

David is a young pup with a gentle heart who’s just starting to find his footing in a big new world. He was surrendered when his previous home had too many animals, and the change has left him feeling a little scared and unsure. Right now, he’s timid—but with the right support, he’s sure to blossom.

David is at the perfect age to grow into a confident, well-rounded dog. He’ll need a patient home that can give him plenty of TLC, positive experiences, and consistent socialization to help him build confidence. New people, places, and gentle introductions will go a long way in helping him feel safe and secure.

Training will be an important part of David’s journey—not just for manners, but to strengthen his bond with his new family and help him understand the world around him. With kindness, structure, and encouragement, he’s likely to come around quickly and show his true, loving personality.
