DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Babe Tigger!

Say hello to Babe Tigger, a tiny, adorable nugget with a big heart and an even bigger future ahead of him. Tigger was found in a shelter in Alabama with his sister, Babe Peony. While shelters are no place for little puppies, their luck quickly turned around when they were rescued by the wonderful team at K-9 Lifesavers. Now safe and happy in a loving foster home, Tigger is beginning his journey to find the forever family he deserves.

Tigger is believed to be a Chihuahua (our best guess!) and is expected to stay on the smaller side once fully grown. What he may lack in size, he more than makes up for in sweetness. This little guy absolutely loves to be held and cuddled, and he will happily soak up all the affection you're willing to give. Tigger also loves other dogs and enjoys playing and exploring with his canine friends. Like any young puppy, he is playful, curious, and full of fun. At his age, he is in the perfect stage for training and socialization, making this a wonderful time for him to bond with his new family and grow into an amazing companion. If you're looking for a small bundle of love who will brighten your days with cuddles, playtime, and endless affection, Babe Tigger may be the perfect match for you.

Apply today — Tigger promises to fill your life with the joy and love that only a dog can bring!

Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.

Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.

Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
