Blind dogs navigate the world with their hearts, noses, and paws. They may not see the world, but they teach us how to see it with love. I'm Tilly...a sweet 12-year-old, 10-pound little lady with a big heart and a brave spirit. Even though I'm blind and recently had one of my eyes removed, I don't let that stop me from enjoying life. I do a wonderful job navigating my surroundings with my nose, my paws, and my memory. Once I learn the layout of a room, I'm happy to move around on my own, and I amaze everyone with how well I figure things out. I'm a laid-back girl who loves knowing my person is nearby. A gentle touch or hearing you close by helps me feel safe and secure. If I can't tell where you are, I may bark because I'm simply trying to find you. When I know you're close, I'm quiet, content, and happy to relax. I'm looking for a home where someone is around most of the day because I truly love being with my people. I thrive on attention, affection, and companionship. There's nothing better than spending my day close to the person I love. I also get along with other dogs and cats, however, a home without children would be best for me. I'm working hard on my housebreaking. I really do well when I'm given frequent opportunities to go outside, and I'm happiest when I can stick to a regular potty schedule. Because I'm blind, I'll need to be carried outside and back inside for potty breaks, but once I'm outdoors, I do a great job taking care of business. My crate is one of my favorite places because it makes me feel safe and comfortable. It's my own little cozy retreat where I can relax and rest peacefully. I may not see your face, but I'll love you with my whole heart every single day.

*Remember, dogs are pack animals. Because of this, Rescue One does not adopt to outdoor-only homes. Pets are family and are not disposable. Please make sure that you are 100% committed to a pet before considering adding one to your home.
