Meet Chica!

This tiny girl is house trained, crate trained, spayed, and microchipped! She likes all people, just not cats, and is just a little girl looking to snuggle up on her humans lap.

She is being fostered in Richmond, VA and is up to date on core vaccinations, has been dewormed, and is on monthly preventatives. She has been heartworm tested and is negative. Her adoption fee is $375 and covers the cost of core vaccinations along with the cost of her care while in foster. We require that all adopters, regardless of the dog’s age, are committed to ongoing training and socialization as part of responsible ownership. Beagles and Bentleys has an across-the-board evaluative process that we apply to every application we review that prioritizes our animals in need. We conduct a vet reference check (all resident dogs must be altered/up to date on dhpp/rabies and monthly preventatives, and cats must be altered and up to date on rabies) and a virtual home visit call where we discuss the adoption process and see your home.

The Chihuahua is a small breed famous for its confidence, loyalty, and big personality, despite its tiny size. Originating from Mexico, these dogs are known for their large, expressive eyes and alert, curious nature. Chihuahuas make excellent companions, forming strong bonds with their owners and displaying a protective nature.
