Meet Goofy!

Goofy aka Bruno aka Mr. Beast is 113 pounds of pure laid-back energy. He came to us after being found living in a home in deplorable conditions. He lived with 6 other dogs, with the smallest being a chihuahua! He is a very gentle dog and walks well on a leash. He has not been tested around cats, but seems to have little to no prey drive. He truly is a goof and loves to think he's a lap dog! He has not had a potty accident in his foster home, and has done great in a crate, with a little coaxing to get him in first!


He is being fostered in Richmond, VA and is up to date on core vaccinations, neutered, has been dewormed, and is on monthly preventatives. His adoption fee is $375 and covers the cost of his care while in foster. We require that all adopters, regardless of the dog’s age, are committed to ongoing training and socialization as part of responsible ownership. Spay/Neuter Disclosure:
Spay/Neuter will be scheduled when age-appropriate and is covered in the adoption fee. We require adopters to be within a reasonable distance of Richmond or Virginia Beach in order to complete spay/neuter with our approved clinics.

Beagles and Bentleys has an across-the-board evaluative process that we apply to every application we review that prioritizes our animals in need. We conduct a vet reference check (all resident dogs must be altered/up to date on dhpp/rabies and monthly preventatives, and cats must be altered and up to date on rabies) and a virtual home visit call where we discuss the adoption process and see your home.
