Meet Fat Tasha 💕

They call her Fat Tasha, like Fat Amy from Pitch Perfect, but with more naps and fewer dance numbers. Tasha is a sweet, snuggly senior girl who’s living her best main character life: lounging, loving, and occasionally demanding snacks. She’s low energy and happiest curled up next to you after a short stroll.

She is working on her fitness journey, but for now, her version of cardio might look a little more… horizontal.Tasha is an older gal who came to B&B as an owner surrender due to the owners health. She was born July 2018 and is a sweet labrador retriever working on losing a few lbs!

Don’t let the diva vibes fool you. Tasha is all heart. She adores pets, loves being your shadow, and will give you those irresistible lab eyes that say, “just one more treat?” She is learning that moderation is key.

She’s house and crate trained, knows “sit,” and enjoys sniffing adventures on walks, though she may pull at times. Tasha can be selective with other dogs and has some food guarding tendencies, so she would do best with an experienced owner who can continue helping her build positive habits.

Tasha hasn’t met cats or young kids yet in her foster home and can be a little nervous with new people or routines, so she will need a patient home that can give her time to settle in.

Her ideal home includes a yard, a cozy couch, and a human committed to helping her feel safe, loved, and supported on her journey to a healthier life.

She is being fostered in Richmond, VA and is up to date on core vaccinations, spayed, has been dewormed, and is on monthly preventatives. She has been heartworm tested and is Negative. Her adoption fee is $375 and covers the cost of core vaccinations, microchip, along with the cost of her care while in foster. We require that all adopters, regardless of the dog’s age, are committed to ongoing training and socialization as part of responsible ownership.
