If you are looking for the sweetest snuggler who is also incredibly smart, Rexx might just be the one you've been waiting for.
Rexx's favorite things:
*Toys - he can have fun with any type of toy, even an ice cube can bring him joy (has not been destructive of toys)
*Walks and running around the yard, exploring all the smells
*Hanging out with his dog friends
*Exploring the house, the yard,
*Adventures ... will be your shadow so that he can be included in any and all fun
*#1 favorite thing to do is snuggling with his people
Rexx is a curious, intelligent young dog that adores his people and bonds quickly (does take a little longer with men). He is medium energy and settles easily when play sessions are over. He is potty trained and will cue you to his needs by sitting at the door.
Due to being a young dog, he can be mouthy at times but responds well to redirecting with toys. He also wants to play with other dogs but takes corrections well when our resident dogs are not wanting to play. He really enjoys being outside exploring, chasing balls or just hanging out with his family. He sleeps quietly in a kennel the entire night but does want to be in the same room as his people. He is not much of a barker but does have some separation anxiety and will whine and cry when initially left alone so shared walls is probably not the ideal home. He also needs work on manners as it is his belief that he is part mountain goat and will climb up chairs to explore interesting things out of his reach. He also can be a "door dasher" but is making progress with this.
Overall, he is a very easy going dog that just wants to be included in his family's adventures. He is super sweet and would enjoy having a younger companion dog to play with. I suspect he would adore having kids to tag around with but can be jumpy so will need some work on this. He will bring his future family endless joy and entertainment.
