Lovebug *Arriving 7/25* D11803 - Chihuahua and Dachshund Dog for Adoption

Lovebug is aptly named as she is ready to love you with her whole heart! She wants all the cuddles and attention you can give her and will give all the love right back to you. Whether riding in the car together, taking walks or helping with household chores, she will be perfectly content to be by your side. While she thoroughly enjoys the company of dogs and kids alike, her family should be extra mindful of her safety given her tiny stature.

Lovebug would really like to have a dog friend in her new home, but is perfectly fine with being the center of attention. She will need to continue working on housetraining; she is currently practicing using potty pads. She understands the concept of being crated and does well, but still learning the word for it! She settles down nicely when it's time to rest.

Lovebug is ready for all the love she's put out into the world to come back to her!

Lovebug is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 7/25/2026 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 9am and noon. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame. Since they haven't arrived yet, they are available exclusively through Ruff Start's Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Visit our Foster to Adopt Program page to learn more. Once they get to Minnesota, they might require further veterinary care. Ruff Start's veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments.
