Refried - Chihuahua Dog for Adoption in Phoenix, Arizona

Refried: Small Bean, Extra Heart

Some things get better with time, and Refried is making a very convincing case for that theory. At 13 years old and a mere 4 pounds, this Chihuahua is a pocket-sized reminder that the best things rarely come in large packages. He’s got a name that belongs on a Mexican restaurant menu and a whole lot of potential to become the most treasured little fixture in your home. Just don’t confuse his petite proportions with a petite place in your heart. That’s not how this works.

Refried is at the age when he deserves the good stuff: a loving home, a family who sees the treasure in a senior pup, and the chance to spend his golden years knowing he’s exactly where he belongs. He may be small enough to fit in the crook of your arm, but the space he could occupy in your life? Practically unlimited. Four pounds of dog, approximately a million reasons to fall in love.

This little gentleman is looking for a family willing to make his next years his best ones yet. Choosing a senior means skipping the puppy chaos and investing in something every bit as wonderful: the chance to give a deserving dog the comfort, security, and devotion he deserves. Refried isn’t asking for a grand adventure or a mansion with a private courtyard. He just needs someone who believes his age is a reason to cherish him, not overlook him.

So, who’s ready to bring home the little bean with the big heart? Refried may be a tiny serving, but he’s the kind of companion you’ll wish you’d ordered extra of. Give this sweet senior his chance at a loving home, and let the good years begin!

Refried is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and negative for heartworm and tick disease on his 4DX test.
