Willow - Domestic Medium Hair Cat for Adoption in Overland Park, Kansas

Willow requires a quiet home with a patient person or family. No young kids, no dogs and no aggressive cats. This is very important.

Brave, innocent Willow was on her own for about six weeks after her two brothers were trapped in early August of last year and while her mom was busy with a new litter of kittens. Willow was finally trapped on 09/29/2025, at about six months of age.

Willow received TNR (trap, neuter and return) services, and when I (her foster mom) saw how calm she was in the trap, I decided to give Willow a chance at an indoor life. I knew that's what she wanted.

This gorgeous girl must have someone who is patient, patient, patient. The effort is so worth the time and stillness required to earn her trust.

It took a long time for Willow to allow human touch. She has come so far, and now Willow is ready for her forever home.

Willow likes other cats but if she is bullied, she will urinate outside the litter box. When she feels calm and safe, she has impeccable manners.

Willow likes to sit in the cat tower and watch birds. She also likes to doze in a chair in my home office while I work, and we have a special treat time right before bed, which she anticipates with joy. She runs up the stairs to have her nightly snack and some love.

Willow's brother Timothy is also available for adoption, and he can go home with Willow or separately.
