Obie *Arriving 10/24* D12803 - Chihuahua and Miniature Pinscher Dog for Adoption

Hi, I'm Obie, a 5-year-old Chihuahua/Min Pin mix looking for a calm, loving, adult-only home to call my own! I'm a gentle, affectionate guy who dreams of being someone's favorite lap dog.

I'm friendly with people, though I can be a little shy and need time to feel comfortable. I enjoy soft toys, and I love collecting my favorites in my crate, my very own safe space! I prefer peaceful surroundings over roughhousing and can coexist with calm dogs.

I'm crate trained, ride well in the car, and am potty trained, though I may need time to adjust to a new routine. I'm still learning to walk on a leash, and I appreciate gentle handling and a patient approach.

If you're looking for a sweet, low-key little companion to spoil with love and cozy cuddles, I'm your guy!
Obie is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 10/24/2026 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 8:30am and 11:00am. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame. Since they haven't arrived yet, they are available exclusively through Ruff Start's Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Visit our Foster to Adopt Program page to learn more.
