Meet Honey: Sweet, Social, and Ready to Land in NYC: Honey is on her way to the East Coast — and she's bringing nothing but good vibes!

Unlike her sister Dulce, who's had a rough road, Honey has had a smoother journey and is ready to bring her sunny disposition to a new home. Known for being exceptionally friendly with both people and dogs, Honey is the kind of girl who makes friends everywhere she goes — at the park, in the elevator, at the vet's office. If you're looking for a dog who gets along with everyone, Honey is your girl.

With the help of a wonderful flight chaperone, Honey will be touching down at LaGuardia Airport on Saturday, June 20, ready to start her next chapter.

Honey and Dulce came into care together and share a close bond, and we're hoping to find foster or foster-to-adopt families — ideally even in the same area — who'd be open to keeping these sisters connected. While they don't need to live together, the occasional reunion would mean so much after everything they've shared.

If you're looking for an easygoing, social, people-and-pup-loving companion to welcome into your home, Honey would love to meet you.

Vaccinated for rabies, DHPP, and bordetella, heartworm negative, microchipped and neutered. Current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.

It is important to fill out an application as soon as possible for consideration, and we require a complete application for you to meet an animal. We are currently unable to respond to general email inquiries as an all-volunteer run rescue. If the dog is on our website, they are still available.
