Goose is a 2-month-old male kitten with moderate Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH), a neurological condition that affects his balance and coordination. While he may wobble and tumble a little differently than other kittens, Goose doesn't let that slow him down one bit.
This sweet boy is incredibly affectionate and happiest when he's soaking up pets, cuddles, and attention from his people. Goose has a gentle, loving personality and will gladly melt into your hands for scratches and snuggles. Goose loves to play and is vey determined about using the litter box. Even if he accidentally falls out of it, he will get up and climb back in! He has not had even one litter box accident at his foster home.
Goose is looking for a family who can see beyond his wobbles and appreciate the amazing kitten he is. CH is not painful or progressive, and with a safe environment and a little understanding, Goose can live a happy, full life just like any other cat.
If you're looking for a special little companion with a huge heart, Goose may be your perfect match.
Goose is up to date on shots, FeLV/FIV negative, dewormed, and microchipped. Will need to be neutered when of age.
To apply, visit our website (www.waggytailrescue.org) for an adoption application. It is important to fill out an application as soon as possible for consideration, and we require a complete application for you to meet an animal. We are currently unable to respond to general email inquiries as an all-volunteer run rescue. If the animal is on our website, they are still available.
Waggytail Rescue CANNOT guarantee the exact age of any adoptable cat, or final size of any of our adoptable kittens. We rely on the information provided to us by veterinarians, shelters, owner surrenders and other circumstances bringing the cat into our rescue.
