Tosha - Chihuahua and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Lewisville, Texas

Tosha is a seven-year-old, 9 lb, Chihuahua mix. She looks like a Deer-Head Chihuahua, maybe with a small mix of Pomeranian or something equally as adorable. She is a pretty little girl, with a lovely greyish brown coloring, almost like the color of a Weimaraner, with soft eyes to match.

Tosha's former person was having health issues and could no longer take care of her, so Humane Tomorrow promised we would find Tosha another wonderful home. She is in excellent health due to the care she received in her previous home. She is a very sweet little dog, but it may take her a little time to warm up to new people, which is understandable after the changes she has been through. She gets along well with most of the other dogs in her foster home, but she would also do just fine as an only dog. She has been around some older children that are dog savvy but probably would not do well if they are around 24/7.

Tosha will do best in a home where it is relatively calm and quiet, with not much activity, as she likes the leisurely lifestyle. She will sit next to you as you read or watch TV. She likes to go for walks, and likes attention, but on her terms, once she has gotten used to you. She is pretty laid back, but when you get home, she gets excited and announces to everyone that her person is back!
