Penelope was found with her two kittens living outdoors under the hot Texas sun! That did not deter her, though, from caring for her kittens and ensuring that they were fed and protected. Once she landed in a safe place, it became clear that she was a people-cat all along. She loves people. She is the first to walk right up to you and say hello and will not stop purring. She is also a particularly beautiful calico and though she's about as pretty as they come, she seems largely unaware! Mostly, she wants to play or curl up next to you or just sit quietly and purr contentedly. While we are not sure how she would do with other cats or dogs, we do know that she would be happy to find herself in a
safe happy home!
