Rosie - Shepherd and Labrador Retriever Dog for Adoption in Lewisville, Texas

Rosie is a 6-year-old Shepherd/Lab mix, but her breed mix is just our best guess. She only weighs 47 lbs, so she is a perfect medium size dog.

Rosie has the sweetest smile when she comes to greet someone. She is very affectionate. She is not a lap sized dog, but she will try to squeeze in anyway! Then she will happily settle for cuddling next to her person.

Rosie loves to go on walks, and she gets major wiggles when she sees the leash come out. She also enjoys time inspecting the backyard in the mornings and evenings. One of her favorite things is chewing on a frozen marrow bone.

Rosie gets along with most dogs, but slow introductions are recommended. She would also be a perfect only dog so she can get all the love and attention. She is great with meeting new people.
During a vet visit, she was calm, quiet, cooperative and sweet. A plumber came to her foster home, and Rosie was so friendly, he joked about taking her home with him!
