Meet Neva!

Neva is a 4-month-old, 8-pound Chi/Terrier mix who is about as sweet as they come! This tiny little girl doesn't have a mean bone in her body and gets along wonderfully with everyone and everything she meets.

Neva is a quiet, gentle little pup who loves playing with her foster siblings. And when the Texas heat kicks in, you'll find her enjoying one of her favorite activities—playing in the swimming pool to cool off!

She does great in her kennel and is proving to be an easygoing little companion. Neva is looking for a loving family who wants a pup they can take everywhere with them. She would love being included in all of life's adventures, big or small!

Because of her sweet, adaptable personality and small size, Neva would do great in either a home or an apartment.

If you're looking for a gentle, happy little girl who loves everyone she meets and just wants to be by your side, Neva may be your perfect little companion! ❤ï ̧

Please understand you are committing to providing a good home for her entire life (up to 15+ years or more) - not just until her puppy cuteness wears off.

You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization. Like most puppies, she may chew on anything within her reach to include but not limited to baseboards, shoes, socks, children's toys, electrical cords, plants, etc.

Her adoption fee is $150. This includes her spay surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccinations, Bravecto®, Drontal® Plus, Tri-Heart® Plus Chewable Tablet, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar.

Our adoption events are held each Saturday at Petco located in the Northwoods Shopping Center at 18138 San Pedro Ave, San Antonio TX 78232. Event hours are 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

SASPCA Homeward Bound Dog Rescue and San Antonio Great Dane Rescue are 501(c)(3) foster-based rescue groups based in San Antonio, Texas.

Our group focuses on assisting open admission shelters in South Texas where over 32,000 dogs and cats are euthanized each year.

Our puppies and dogs are completely vetted and live in foster homes. They are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and tested for heartworm disease.

All adoptions include one month of flea and heartworm preventative and a leash and collar.

If your adoption application is approved and you are traveling from out-of-town, we hold your chosen pet for one hour past the event start time to allow for travel time.

We are an all-volunteer organization and do not currently have the resources to process out-of-state adoptions.

Our puppies, purebred dogs, and small breed dogs do get adopted quickly so we encourage interested parties to apply online.
