Meet Lexi!

Lexi is a 4-month-old, 12-pound Terrier mix with what may just be the cutest face ever created! Seriously, that face is going to be hard to resist!

This sweet little pup is looking for an adoring family who will let her grow up right alongside them and become a true part of the family. Lexi is at that wonderful puppy stage where she is learning about the world, discovering new things, and ready to make a lifetime of memories with her people.

She does great with all of her foster siblings and loves having other dogs around. She also does great in her crate, which is a great start for this little girl!

Lexi would fit beautifully into almost any type of family home, and her size and adaptable personality could even make her a great apartment pup. As with any puppy, she's ready to learn, play, explore, and soak up all the love her family has to give.

Please understand you are committing to providing a good home for her entire life (up to 15+ years or more) - not just until her puppy cuteness wears off.

You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization. Like most puppies, she may chew on anything within her reach to include but not limited to baseboards, shoes, socks, children's toys, electrical cords, plants, etc.

Her adoption fee is $150. This includes her spay surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccinations, Bravecto®, Drontal® Plus, Tri-Heart® Plus Chewable Tablet, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar.

Please be aware that puppies and small breed dogs do get adopted quickly so interested parties are encouraged to apply online at www.saspca.org.

Please ensure your application is complete before submitting. We do verify property ownership, landlord references, apartment/HOA restrictions, veterinary references.

Our adoption events are held each Saturday at Petco located in the Northwoods Shopping Center at 18138 San Pedro Ave, San Antonio TX 78232. Event hours are 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

SASPCA Homeward Bound Dog Rescue and San Antonio Great Dane Rescue are 501(c)(3) foster-based rescue groups based in San Antonio, Texas.

Our group focuses on assisting open admission shelters in South Texas where over 32,000 dogs and cats are euthanized each year.

Our puppies and dogs are completely vetted and live in foster homes. They are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and tested for heartworm disease.

All adoptions include one month of flea and heartworm preventative and a leash and collar.

If your adoption application is approved and you are traveling from out-of-town, we hold your chosen pet for one hour past the event start time to allow for travel time.

We are an all-volunteer organization and do not currently have the resources to process out-of-state adoptions.

Our puppies, purebred dogs, and small breed dogs do get adopted quickly so we encourage interested parties to apply online.
