MEET PENELOPE

If you are looking for a puppy with personality, confidence and nonstop charm, allow us to introduce you to Penelope.

Penelope is officially accepting adoption applications through Help Us, Help Them Dog Rescue and this little lady is ready to find a forever family of her very own.

Penelope was born on July 1st and is a Chihuahua/Terrier mix. She currently weighs in at just 5 pounds. She is one of the five girls from our Bridgerton Litter and her mama, Roxy, is approximately 20 pounds.

Because we do not know what dad was, we cannot guarantee Penelope’s adult size. She may end up small to medium sized, but as with any mixed breed puppy, there can always be surprises.

Penelope is the life of the party.

She is Miss Social, full of personality and not the least bit shy. She loves being part of the action, wants to know what everyone is doing and absolutely does not believe she should be left out of anything.

She is flirty, curious, playful and full of confidence. Penelope has a way of making herself the center of attention without even trying and honestly... she knows exactly how cute she is.

She loves toys, loves attention and loves keeping herself entertained. She is smart, busy and always thinking, which means her future family will definitely want to stay one step ahead of this clever little girl.

Penelope has been growing up in foster care with her sisters and is finally ready to start looking for a family to call her own.

If you want a puppy that is fun, fearless, full of charm and guaranteed to keep you smiling, Penelope just might be your girl.

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS: #NoExceptions

All animals currently living in the home MUST BE:

• Spayed or neutered
• Up to date on vaccines including Rabies, DHPP, Lepto and Bordetella
• Up to date on a fecal test
• Up to date on a yearly Heartworm Test
• On veterinarian-prescribed Heartworm Prevention year round

ADOPTION INFORMATION

Penelope is available for adoption through Help Us, Help Them Dog Rescue based in Ferndale, Michigan.

Adoption Fee: $400

There is also a $100 spay/neuter security deposit that will be reimbursed within 45 days after proof of spay/neuter is provided.

Her adoption fee includes:

• 1st round of DHPP
• Bordetella
• Lepto
• Deworming
• Microchip
• Negative Fecal Test

Penelope is currently on flea and tick prevention as well as Heartworm Prevention.

She will be adopted on a mandatory spay/neuter contract and MUST BE FIXED on or before her 6 month birthday.

Before an adoption can be finalized, the prospective adopter must already have a spay/neuter appointment scheduled with their veterinarian.

Failure to have Penelope spayed by the required deadline will be handled according to the terms of the signed adoption contract including the rescue’s contractual right to reclaim the puppy.

Penelope is currently being fostered within the Metro Detroit area.

We WILL NOT adopt two puppies from the same litter into the same home.

Please allow up to 2 weeks for our rescue to process your application and contact you after submission.
