Meet Kelvin!

Kelvin (affectionately also known as Kelvie, CK, and Cowboy Kelvin) is a sweet and easygoing Chihuahua mix who's around 8 years old and weighs about 13 lbs. With his handsome tan coat, frosted face, and gentle personality, this charming senior is ready to find a forever home where he can enjoy life's simple pleasures by your side.

While his "cowboy" days are behind him, Kelvin still has plenty of love, personality, and adventure left to share. His back legs are a little wonky, giving him an endearing swagger, but X-rays show his bones and joints are in great shape. He gets around just fine for leash walks, playtime, and spending time out and about with his favorite people.

Kelvin is crate-trained, house-trained, and an absolute dream in the car-he loves riding shotgun as your co-pilot for errands, road trips, or weekend adventures. At home, he's just as content watching the world go by from the window, chewing on a favorite bone, or curling up next to you on the couch while you work, relax, or binge your favorite show.

His friendly nature makes him an easy companion. He enjoys meeting people and gets along with other dogs, though he prefers not to share his prized toys or bones. Kelvin went through heartworm treatment last year and is now heartworm free! He recently had a dental cleaning with several extractions, typical of senior chihuahuas, and is now feeling a lot better with the healthy teeth that remain
