MeeMaw is a 14-year-old, 50-pound pit bull mix and the ultimate velcro dog. She will be your loyal shadow around the house and loves nothing more than curling up next to you on the couch. She's housebroken, crate trained, wonderfully quiet, and coexists peacefully with both dogs and cats. She walks like a dream on a leash, adores rolling around in the grass, and doesn't let her missing teeth or arthritic joints slow down her gentle, loving spirit.

MeeMaw is currently undergoing heartworm treatment and receiving pain management for her arthritis, which makes her eligible for our Post-Medical Adoption Program! You get to take this sweet girl home to recover in comfort now, while HAR covers the remaining cost of her heartworm treatment.
