Hi, I’m Cookie!

I’m a 1-year-old, 13-pound Chihuahua, and just like my name suggests, I’m about as sweet as they come.

I had a home and a boy I loved very much. But when he had to leave for college, my whole little world changed, and I was surrendered to the rescue.

I didn’t understand.

For the first few days in my foster home, I mourned. I barely ate, and I kept that big personality of mine tucked away while I tried to figure out where my person had gone.

But give a girl a little love and about three days... and there I was.

Apparently, I’m what folks here in the South call “ALL THE THINGS.”
I’m a professional lap baby, a certified Velcro pup, and one of the sweetest little girls you’ll ever meet. If you sit down, I’ll happily keep your lap warm. If you get up, well... where are WE going?
