Hi, I'm Dobby, a 1-year-old, 13 lb Chihuahua blend with big house-elf energy and an even bigger heart. I'm curious, outgoing, and always eager to see what's happening around me. Whether I'm supervising the backyard, greeting my people with a full-body wiggle, or investigating something interesting, I like being part of the action. I may be small, but I bring plenty of personality, affection, and charm wherever I go. Best of all, unlike the famous Hogwarts house-elf, I'm not looking for a sock—I'm looking for a forever family.

Favorite Things: Dobby loves toys and believes there's no such thing as having too many. He enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring the yard, and accompanying his people on walks. While he starts the day ready for adventure, one of his favorite ways to end it is curled up beside his favorite human, enjoying some well-earned relaxation.

Training and Manners: Dobby is fully housetrained when let out regularly, walks well on a leash, and rides nicely in the car. He rests comfortably in his secure area at night and can spend a few hours there during the day when home alone. Like many young dogs, he is still polishing his manners and learning how to channel his excitement appropriately. A quick learner, Dobby is making great progress with commands like "drop it" and "leave it" and is eagerly building his skills every day.

Health and Care: Dobby is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and ready for his forever home. He will need monthly heartworm, flea, and tick prevention. His grooming needs are minimal, requiring only regular baths and nail trims.

Other Animals: Dobby enjoys the company of other dogs and would do best with a canine companion who appreciates an active, interactive play style. He has not been formally tested with cats, but his foster believes he may do well with a cat following slow, thoughtful introductions.

Children: Because Dobby is still maturing and can become mouthy when excited, he is best suited for a home with children ages 8 and older.
