***Local adoption only: Eve needs to be adopted by a family in the Central Florida region (Orlando area) who will commit to taking her to her follow-up puppy vetting appointments with PPR's vetting partner. These appointments have already been scheduled, and their cost is covered in the adoption donation.***
Hi, I'm Eve! I'm a 4-month-old, 24-pound Standard Poodle girl who connects quickly with my person and loves to be near them. I'm curious and smart, and it doesn't take me long to learn the dos and don'ts of family life. But I'm still young, so I'm hoping to find a patient, loving family to continue my training and let me know how much I'm loved.
Favorite Things: Eve loves to run and play. She likes chew toys, too, but she'd rather run and play! Most of all, she loves being right by her person's side and tends to follow them from room to room. This little cutie also enjoys her food and is food-motivated, which goes along way with training.
Training & Manners: As a young pup, Eve still has a lot to learn. Like any puppy, she will need a family who is willing to commit to teaching her how to be her best self. She is still learning to potty outside and walk on a leash. She loves a car ride and sleeps in a secure space at night.
Health & Care: Eve is a healthy girl! She is chipped, heartworm negative, and currently up to date on her vaccinations, but she still needs her final puppy vetting appointments. These have already been scheduled with PPR's vetting partner, and her adopters must commit to taking her to these appointments. Their cost is covered in her adoption donation. She'll also need her monthly flea and heart preventatives, like any dog. As a Standard Poodle, she'll need regular professional grooming to look and feel her best.
Other Animals: Eve gets along well with the older dog in her foster home. She hasn't had experience with cats, but her foster mom thinks she'd be fine with them.
Children: Eve will do best with older children (8+).
Ideal Home: Because she is vocal when left alone at this point, a single-family residence will be the best fit for Eve. She can be left alone in a secure space for several hours but a home where someone is home often, especially during her initial training, will be ideal.
Overall: Eve will make a wonderful companion for a family who will show her love and patience as she learns the ways of the world. Do you think Eve might be the one for you? Then visit www.PoodleandPoochRescue.org to fill out an adoption application. If it seems like it could be a good match, her foster family will reach out with more information. Her adoption donation is $650.
