Meet Moira - an 8-pound senior Chihuahua with the softest coat, the sweetest soul, and a face that is impossible not to love.

At 10 years old, Moira has life figured out. She knows what matters: warm blankets, cozy naps, gentle affection, and being as close to her favorite human as physically possible. In fact, if she could choose, she would spend every moment touching you in some way-curled beside you, tucked into your lap, or snuggled under a blanket sharing your pillow.

Moira is a delightful little mix of Chihuahua and something adorably scruffy. Her wispy facial furnishings give her a charming, slightly tousled look that perfectly complements her sweet personality. Add in her toothless grin and the cutest little side tongue you've ever seen, and she becomes completely irresistible.

This lovely girl moves at a slower pace these days and has absolutely no interest in marathon hikes or long adventures. A leisurely stroll, a sunny spot for lounging, and plenty of cuddle time are much more her speed. She walks nicely on leash and rides beautifully in the car, especially when she's safely belted in next to her person. Long road trips? No problem. As long as she's with you, she's happy. Moira also loves to be carried around in a doggy sling.

Moira loves people and is wonderfully social. She gets along beautifully with other dogs, does well with cats, and is gentle enough for respectful children. She is crate trained, though she'd much rather be out snuggling if given the choice. Because she bonds so deeply, she can be vocal when separated from her favorite person and would thrive in a home where companionship is plentiful.

Sweet doesn't begin to describe Moira. She is affectionate, gentle, incredibly soft, and overflowing with love. She is the kind of dog who quietly works her way into your heart and then stays there forever.

Her minimum adoption donation amount is $275 She is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, heart worm checked, and on flea/tick and heart worm preventatives.

We are located in Bloomington, IL
We do not ship, you would need to travel to pick up your babies if you live out of state.
Your current pets must be up-to-date on core vaccines, spayed/neutered, and on heart worm prevention year round. You must be at least 21-years-old to adopt.
