Chihuahua and Miniature Dachshund Dogs Available for Adoption in New Haven, Connecticut

Eggs is very sweet! She is cute, fairly mellow, and an overall well behaved girl. She is likely anywhere from around 3-5 years old and around 18lbs. She was found stray, without microchip and landed in a high kill shelter. We were happy to welcome this deserving girl into rescue. She has a sweet energy, is good with dogs of all sizes, and enjoys human attention, being held, and hanging with her foster family.
Eggs’ bio:
-age appropriate energy, loves to be held and also mellows out nicely
-great with other dogs in her foster home
-likes to be around people
-working on potty training and is doing well in her foster’s routine
-is working on leash training
-does well in her kennel/gated area when home alone
-enjoys toys, bones, treats
-enjoys lounging in the yard and on her dog bed as well as playtime in the yard
-will make a great companion, and a great lap dog to a loving family
-does ok so far on car rides to her vet appointments and errands with her foster
-did well for her grooming/bath
-is up to date on vaccines, spayed, dewormed, is on flea and tick preventatives, and microchipped
