Meet Phoebe! The beautiful ginger who's discovering the good life!

Phoebe is a 3-year-old sweetheart who's learning that life with humans is pretty darn wonderful! After spending much of her life outdoors, she's discovering the joys of cozy couches, TV time, cuddles, and having people who love her. She's even started asking for affection instead of running the other way! Phoebe loves playing with her doggy friends, hiding treats for later (a girl's gotta have snacks!), and enjoying her favorite chews. She's potty trained on a schedule, walks nicely on a leash, and lives with cats, although sometimes she's a little too enthusiastic about being their friend. She will do well with extremely dog savvy cats only.

Every day, Phoebe gets a little braver! She's learning basic commands, gaining confidence with new experiences, and discovering that her humans really do come back when they leave. She's currently on medication for separation anxiety, which is being slowly reduced as her confidence grows. She's never been destructive when left alone. Phoebe rides nicely in the car, although her tummy is still adjusting to the adventures. This sweet girl needs a patient, loving family who will continue showing her just how amazing life can be. She's come so far already, and the best chapters of her story are still waiting to be written!
