Meet Misty Lu

Misty Lu is a little Yorkie mix who is as sweet as honey and an absolute love bug! This petite girl loves her people, enjoys being around other dogs, and is happiest when she has a soft bed and all the cozy creature comforts a girl could ask for.

Misty Lu plays nicely with other dogs but is also perfectly content doing her own thing, so she doesn't need another dog in her forever home. She would, however, have fun with occasional canine playmates. She does best with dogs who understand personal space and don't get right in her face. With appropriate introductions, she is very good with other dogs.

This little lady is house trained, rides quietly in a crate in the car, and is comfortable being crated when her foster family runs errands. She even has her bedtime routine down! Around 8:30 each evening, Misty Lu puts herself to bed in her soft kennel bed, then gets one last potty break around 10:00 with the other dogs.

Misty Lu is a good little watchdog and will let you know when she spots squirrels or strangers in the yard. She loves being outside and enjoys following her people around the yard. She does have a funny feisty side, too-she wants to take on the mower and vacuum until someone helps her settle down!

She is wonderful with stairs and greets people nicely. Because she is such a tiny girl, she can easily slip through a cracked door, so her forever home will need to be safe, secure, and mindful of her size, especially as she enjoys her golden years.
