Chance is an affectionate 1.5 year old male who came to us all the way from Texas! He loves to snuggle and get petted and will lay on your lap for good periods of time. (I'm sure he would love to sleep on the bed with you, too!) He has the sweetest, kindest, big eyes that will melt your heart.

Chance is extremely good natured and has never shown aggression with other dogs. Not in off leash parks, with our resident dogs, even when provoked. He just observes and walks away. He loves to play with toys and dogs - including tug of war with his best friend, our 12 week old puppy! He needs some running around and rough housing a few times a day, but then settles in nicely for naps or lounging on the couch. He can be a bit shy with people at first but warms up quite quickly.

He is mostly house-trained, doing well on a schedule. He does fantastic in his crate at night and also with rides in the car. He rarely barks, except a bit during playtime. He is a shedding dog but with a de-shedder grooming tool it's no problem. He is also great in the bath! He just calmly sits in the tub and gets washed.

I think he is the most good natured dog I have ever seen - I love his mixture of playfulness and quiet snuggles and a bit of shyness that turns quickly into affection. He is such a great dog and needs to find a loving home that can give him what he deserves. He will be great with kids and dogs.
