Porter *Arriving 9/12* D12337 - Catahoula Leopard Dog and Chihuahua Dog for Adoption

Porter is one adorable boy from a litter of 12, and this little guy is ready to find his new family!
Like his siblings Petey and Pippi, Porter is sweet, affectionate, goofy, playful, and very much a puppy. He loves to play with toys, romp around with other dogs, and enjoys exploring the world around him.
Porter loves having other dogs around and would be happy to have a canine friend in his new home. He's also been around cats and enjoys interacting with them, so he has plenty of potential to fit right into a home with furry siblings.
Porter is still learning all the things a puppy needs to know. He'll need the usual puppy training, patience, consistency, socialization, and guidance, but he's smart, flexible, and ready to learn. With someone willing to teach him, Porter will grow up to be a wonderful companion.
Porter is looking for a family who will give him the time and training he needs while enjoying all the fun that comes with raising a puppy.

Porter is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 09/12/2026 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 8:30 and 11:30 am. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame. Since they haven't arrived yet, they are available exclusively through Ruff Start's Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Visit our Foster to Adopt Program page to learn more. Once they get to Minnesota, they might require further veterinary care. Ruff Start's veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments.
