Meet Santana Sue, a big Saint Bernard girl with an even bigger heart! This easygoing, lovable goofball is happiest simply being near her people, whether she's stretched out at your feet, leaning against your leg, or resting her giant paw on your lap to let you know that the petting session is absolutely not over. She loves attention and will happily soak up every bit you're willing to give.
Santana is wonderfully laid-back. She enjoys leisurely exploring and meandering around outside, but most of the time she's perfectly content to lounge nearby and keep you company. She has occasional bursts of playful energy and enjoys playing with other dogs, but she's not particularly interested in toys. She's also wonderfully easygoing with visitors, usually giving them a quick curious look before going back to doing her own thing.
This gentle giant is a great walking companion and walks nicely on leash, although she may occasionally pull when something especially interesting catches her attention. She knows "sit," does great in her crate, and rides beautifully in the car. She's had a couple of accidents while settling into her foster home but is doing well with her potty training.
Santana Sue is the kind of dog who doesn't need a lot of excitement to be happy. Give her a person to love, a comfortable place to lounge, and plenty of pets, and she's one very happy Saint Bernard. And if she gently plants that enormous paw on you? Well, you'd better keep petting!
