If you're looking for a puppy with equal parts personality, playfulness, and charm, Minnetonka is ready to win you over!

Minnetonka is a friendly, fun-loving pup who keeps life entertaining. One minute he's happily lounging with a chew bone, and the next he's zooming around inviting everyone to a wrestling match. His ability to switch from calm to crazy in a split second is all part of his charm! While he loves playing with other dogs, he's also perfectly content keeping himself busy with a toy or bone. And if there's one thing he loves even more than playtime, it's mealtime. The excitement is just too much to contain!

When meeting new people, Minnetonka can be a little unsure at first, but give him a couple of minutes and his friendly personality quickly shines through. He gets along well with cats and enjoys the company of other dogs. While another playful dog in the home could be a great match, it's not a requirement as long as his family is ready to help him burn off his moderate puppy energy.

Like any young puppy, Minnetonka is still learning the ropes. He's working on potty training and has just started learning basic commands. He will need continued crate training, leash training, and proper socialization to help him grow into a confident, well-mannered companion. He has not yet been exposed to children, but he is still young and at a great age to learn and grow with them through positive experiences and proper introductions.

Minnetonka can be a little vocal during exciting moments, especially when he's playing with other dogs or when he knows his dinner is being served but has to wait his turn. His expressive nature just adds to his lovable personality.

*This animal will be attending our Summer of Love Adoption Event at the Mall of America on Sunday, August 16th, from 1-3 PM. If you're interested in adopting, you must attend the event in person and be prepared to take the animal home that same day. Adoptions will be handled on-site only-please do not submit an online application prior to the event. Adoption decisions are made at the discretion of our staff and fosters. If this animal is not adopted at the event, they may become available through our standard adoption process afterward. Animal availability is subject to change at any time.*
