Eleanor is a sweet and friendly pup who loves toys and tennis balls, and spends her days romping and rolling around with her siblings. She is the smallest of her siblings and the most likely to run to greet you with a toy in her mouth. She is all puppy, full of sloppy kisses and tail wags,

Eleanor and her siblings were found abandoned under a house in a rural part of Mississippi, starving and alone. Fortunately, a good Samaritan pulled them from under the house and brought them to Wags. The siblings were likely dumped, a common practice in Mississippi.
Since then, the siblings have been running, playing and cuddling together to nap in a giant puppy pile. They have been vaccinated and spayed/neutered and are ready to travel to the northeast to find a loving family of their own.

Eleanor is a friendly and social puppy who loves everyone she meets. Like any puppy, Eleanor needs a family willing to give her the training and attention she needs to grow up to be the very good girl we know she can be.

A little about Wags and adoption fees: The woman who runs Wags takes care of almost 200 dogs completely on her own, she finds stray dogs constantly and find it impossible to turn them away.
Adoption fees are the only source of funding for Wags and help pay for the vaccines, microchip spay/neuter and the transport from Mississippi for the lucky dogs who get posted for adoption and fine loving homes. What little is left after those expenses helps pay for food and vet care for all the other dogs and of course, the multitude of other expenses that come from running a rescue.
Almost all of our dogs are in Mississippi and come up by Transport, dogs are listed along the Transport route or in an area where we may have volunteers who can help transport the dogs. Sometimes were able to bring up dogs into a foster home in the northeast, we always need foster homes!
