Hi, I'm Ruby, a rare gem who's ready to bring my sparkle to your world! I'm a sweet and spunky 3-year-old, 31-pound Welsh Corgi girl with a royal panache. I'm smart and confident (can you tell?) and always ready for an adventure (unless I'm napping, of course.)

Favorite Things: Ruby loves to play with her toys – the more the merrier! She also loves running laps and then plopping down for a well-earned rest. And this little beauty always enjoys a good belly rub.

Training & Manners: Ruby is house-trained in her foster home where she is let out regularly. She has lovely house manners though it might take a bit for her to build trust. This sweet girl does fine in the car, walks well on a leash, and sleeps soundly in a secure space at night.

Health & Care: Ruby is spayed, chipped, heartworm negative, up to date on her vaccinations, and recently had a dental cleaning. She'll just need her monthly flea and heart preventatives, like any dog. As a Corgi, she'll need regular baths and brushing to look and feel like the queen she is.

Other Animals: Ruby loves other dogs! She hasn't had experience with cats, but her foster mom thinks she'd be fine with them.

Children: Ruby loves kids of all ages and is a cheerful playmate.

Ideal Home: Ruby isn't picky and would be happy in a loving home that's doesn't have too many stairs. An apartment or condo would be fine as long as it's on the first floor. She can be left alone in a secure space for several hours and will greet you with a happy wiggle when you return.
