Meet Sulayma — a loving Jordanian rescue who is ready to trade survival for family life.

Sulayma is the kind of dog you can easily picture right in the middle of a family.

She loves people.
She loves children.
She loves cats.
She enjoys other dogs.
And she loves playing and cuddling.

Rescued in Jordan after being abandoned by her previous family, Sulayma was found severely underweight and suffering from a serious wound on her ear. After intensive veterinary treatment, she recovered and quickly began making friends with the other dogs around her.

Her past could have made her fearful of the world. Instead, she remains remarkably kind and affectionate.

Sulayma may take a little time to get to know someone new, but once she is comfortable, her personality really opens up.

She is easy to imagine joining a family for weekend adventures, lying at someone’s feet while everyone watches a movie, playing in the yard, or simply soaking up the affection she missed earlier in life.

She gets along with other dogs, although she can sometimes have difficulty with smaller dogs, so thoughtful introductions are important.

Sulayma has already experienced what it means to lose a home.

Now she deserves to experience what it means to truly have one.
