Salim- the ball loving goofball - Canaan Dog and Labrador Retriever Dog for Adoption in Franklin Township, New Jersey

Meet Salim — a goofy Jordanian rescue who would happily spend his life playing fetch with you.

Salim has one very important question:

Do you have a ball?

Because if you do, you may already be his favorite person.

Rescued in Jordan after being found severely underweight in a factory area, Salim has grown into a happy, playful, affectionate dog who genuinely loves being around people.

His favorite game is fetch, and he is perfectly comfortable letting you take the ball from his mouth so you can throw it again. And again. And probably again.

Salim has also completed an entire basic-training course with a certified force-free trainer. He is highly food-motivated, very receptive to learning, and did especially well practicing walking beside his handler.

That makes him an exciting match for someone who wants a dog they can actually do things with.

Imagine weekend hikes, morning walks, backyard fetch sessions, training classes, road trips, or simply having an enthusiastic companion waiting to join whatever you have planned.

Salim has plenty of energy and personality, but he also loves attention and affection.

His trainer believes that because he is so comfortable around people, he may have lived in a home before.

Maybe his next one will finally be permanent.
