Otis is a senior bulldog hoping to charm his way into a retirement suite and trust us… he will!

Otis is approx 8-10 years old, 75 pounds and working toward becoming his healthiest self. He loves people, and bonds quickly with anyone who will offer him pets. Otis comes with the funniest personality that will keep you laughing… most times, he doesn’t need to do much, just exist and he naturally brings a smile.

Otis is fostered with dogs, cats and has done well meeting school aged children. He’d love a quieter house hold where he can do what he does best.. nap and relax. Otis loves his bed, will hoist himself on the couch and loves to sit with his people. He makes an excellent cooking companion and enjoys car rides. Otis is house trained when kept on a schedule & does well in his crate, too

Although Otis is a bit husky, potato shaped and seeks a slower, retired life, he is fairly active. He follows his foster parents around everywhere they go, shuffles to nearest sun spot and enjoys some slow strolls & sitting on the deck. He has also found a new love for chewing on bones!

Otis is hoping for a “bulldog savvy” adopter who understands their extra care. Otis is approx 75 pounds after coming to us at a whopping 90 pounds. His tail was recently removed to end reoccurring infections, and healed up well.

Otis doesn’t love the vet (drama king), and is working on cooperative care such a cleaning his folds & nose butter. He will need an adopter to continue to work at his speed to feel trusting and comfortable. Otis is a bit hard of hearing & does have eye drops for his dry eye, that he is reluctant to allow at this time. He’s a little bit of a.. stubborn bull (he has NO problem hearing a crinkle of a wrapper!)

What Otis “”lacks”” physically he makes up tenfold in love, personality and companionship. He is true bulldog to the core who will make an adopter feel so special.
