DESCRIPTION
If you have toys, you will have a best friend in Boo! She is estimated to be about 10 months old and weighs 45 pounds right now. Here are some nice facts about her:
Absolutely gorgeous
Best pouty pout ever
Outgoing
Playful
Likes to lean in for love
Has a great full body wiggle
Loves soft toys but needs a little work on releasing them, but doing great at trading up
Likes to fetch tennis balls
Best in an active home
Needs a home where any children are at least 8 years old due to using her full body to show affection and can play a bit rough
Boo has such a great temperament, she just needs someone to invest time in basic manners work, leadership and structure for her.
If there is another nice doggy sibling in the home, Boo would love to meet them. She has a tall, friendly, loose approach with other dogs, but she is more interested in everything else that is going on around her!
If you are interested in Boo and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend!
*Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*
ABOUT: BOXER DOG BREED
The boxer is a medium to large sized dog breed known for its muscular build, distinctive square head, and energetic personality. Boxers are loyal, affectionate, and good natured companions, making them an ideal family pet. They are intelligent, playful, and love to be around people, making them excellent with children. Boxers require consistent training, plenty of exercise, and socialization to thrive. With their strong work ethic and protective instincts, boxers excel in various roles, including as service dogs, therapy dogs, and in dog sports.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
